The founding company, Webster-Wilkinson Ltd was established in 1966, initially designing and manufacturing transformer bushings and cable boxes. It continues to this day, with an enhanced range of transformer components and a world-wide customer base.
Component Developments was established in 1990. It is a custom designer and manufacturer of high-grade, stainless steel drainage systems, edge protection and access covers. Its products are used in food production, hospitals and prisons in the UK and overseas.
Telford Laser Cutting Services is a sub-contract laser cutting service, carrying a large stock of sheet materials in mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper, thicknesses from 0.5mm up to 20mm. It is also able to offer bending and machining services.
BHW Ceramics was established in 1973 in Stoke-on-Trent, designing and manufacturing ceramic insulators for overhead lines, traction applications and transformer bushings. In later years the manufacturing business was moved overseas whilst keeping the machining and assembly operations in the UK. Today it is best known for design and supply of specialist ceramic insulators and high-voltage consulting services.
Webster-Wilkinson Specialist Fabrications is a sub-contract manufacturer of transformer tanks, high-voltage enclosures and mining tanks.
